Q. How does it work?
A.

You are given a pill to take one hour prior to your dental appointment.  Your companion will you to the office.  When you arrive, you will be very drowsy.  You will relax into a very comfortable chair, covered with a thick, warm cozy blanket.  Your vital signs will be monitored.  After you are comfortable, our experienced clinical them will take care of your dental needs.  When your treatment is completed your companion will drive you home to finish your relaxing sleep.

Q. How long will it take?
A. By taking a pill an hour prior to your appointment you will already be relaxed when you arrive at the office.  It will be necessary to be accompanied to and from the appointment by a friend or loved one.  Depending on your individual needs, you will be relaxed and sedated for a short or long visit.  This may allow treatment requiring six to eight visits to be accomplished in as little as one.

Q. Is it worth it?
A. Sedation dentistry is a safe and effective way to provide complex dental care painlessly to any adult patient who has anxieties and fears about their dental care.
